MY THOUGHTS This fragrance is not only my favorite from the brand of Frederic Malle, but one of my most adored fragrances of my over 1,000 bottle collection. What's funny is it wasn't always like that because the first time I ever smelled it (~1 year ago), I thought it was poop. I didn't appreciate the level of mastery Dominique Ropion (the master perfumer who made this) achieved with this blend. Only on my fifth time wearing it did my mind start to comprehend what my nose was smelling. There are several similar fragrances, most notably Boadicea The Victorious Nebulous and Kilian Pearl Oud, but none are as epic as The Night by Frederic Malle. Not for the faint of heart. And not for pussies. If you're a real G, this is one to keep in the collection forever.
