GPSC ની પરીક્ષામાં essay નું શું મહત્વ છે?
GPSCની મુખ્ય પરીક્ષામાં essayનું ૧૫૦ માર્કનું પ્રશ્નપત્ર આવે છે. જે મુખ્યત્વે વિદ્યાર્થીના જ્ઞાન અને લેખન કૌશલ્ય આધારિત છે. લેખન કૌશલ્ય વિકસાવી essay ના પેપરમાં સારા ગુણ લાવી શકાય છે. જે ફાઇનલ સિલેકશનમાં મહત્વપૂર્ણ સાબિત થઈ શકે છે.
આ ઉપરાંત esaay ગુજરાતી અને ઇંગ્લિશ માં પણ ૨૦ માર્કમાં પૂછાય છે. આમ essay કુલ ૧૫૦+૨૦+૨૦ = ૧૯૦ માર્કનું wightage ધરાવે છે. જે કોઈ પણ વિધાર્થી અવગણી ન શકે.
Esaay લખવાથી વિકસેલ કૌશલ્ય લેખનની કળા GS ના ઘણા પ્રશ્નોના જવાબ તથા તેના introduction અને conslusion લખવામાં પણ મદદરૂપ સાબિત થાય છે.
• Gpsc ની પરીક્ષામાં મોટાભાગે ભારતની અર્થવ્યવસ્થા, વૈશ્વિક અર્થતંત્ર અને આંતરરાષ્ટ્રિય સંબંધો, પર્યાવરણ, સામાજિક પ્રશ્નો, બંધારણ, ઊર્જાક્ષેત્ર, શિક્ષણ, સહકારી ક્ષેત્ર, મહિલા અને બાળકોની સામાજિક સ્થિતિ, ટેકનોલોજી ( AI, digital technology, technology નો ભારતના સામાજિક અને આર્થિક જીવન પર પ્રભાવ) અને નીતિગત મુદ્દા ઉપર નિબંધ વારંવાર પૂછાય છે.
જેના માટે જે તે વિષયનું જ્ઞાન, તે વિશેનો મહત્વપૂર્ણ data વિષે માહિતી હોવી જરૂરી છે.સાથે સાથે નિબંધના ટોપિક અનુરૂપ હાલની સ્થિતિની માહિતી હોવી જરુરી છે.
• આ ઉપરાંત ટોપિક મુજબ essay ના લખાણનો ફ્લો જળવાય અને મુદ્દાથી ભટકાઈ ન જવાય તેની કાળજી રાખવી પણ એટલી જ જરૂરી છે.essay સામાન્ય રીતે introduction, main body ane conclusion ત્રણ ભાગમાં વિભાજીત કરી લખવામાં આવે છે. સારું Introduction અને conclusion essay ને વધારે આકર્ષક બનાવે છે જે વધુ માર્ક લાવવામાં મદદરૂપ નીવડે સકે છે. એ માટે સારા quotes, poem કે reallife કે imaginary story નો ઉપયોગ કરી શકાય.
• આ તમામ વસ્તુ વિકસાવવા માટે દરેક વિદ્યાર્થીએ essayની પ્રેક્ટિસ કરવી અનિવાર્ય છે. કારણકે લખાણની મૌલિકતા માત્ર વાંચનથી વિકસાવી શકાતી નથી. વળી પ્રશ્નપત્રમાં એક સમયસીમા સાથે લઈ લખવાનું હોય છે. એવામાં એક્ઝામ લખાણની પ્રેક્ટિસ વગર આપણા મૌલિક વિચારોને ૮૦૦-૧૦૦૦ શબ્દોમાં રજૂ કરવું એ પણ એક પડકારજનક કર્યા છે.
