π€Can I clear FMGE after scoring 120β149 in my previous attempt?
Your previous score alone cannot determine the outcome of the next attempt. What it can do is show you that you already have measurable exposure to the syllabus and examination format.
Use the previous attempt to identify your specific gaps and work systematically on them.
π€Should I study all 19 subjects again?
Do not automatically give every subject the same amount of time.
Use your previous performance, syllabus coverage, subject importance and error pattern to decide where intensive revision is required. At the same time, avoid completely abandoning smaller subjects.
π€Should repeaters watch all the lectures again?
Not necessarily.
If a topic is already understood but repeatedly forgotten, active recall and MCQs may be more useful than watching the same lecture again.
Use lectures primarily where there is a genuine conceptual gap.
π€How many Grand Tests should I take?
The exact number should depend on your preparation time and ability to analyse them properly.
A smaller number of thoroughly analysed tests can be more useful than repeatedly taking tests without reviewing mistakes.
π€Can I focus only on Medicine, Surgery and OBG?
No.
These subjects deserve substantial attention, but FMGE covers the broader MBBS syllabus. Your preparation should balance high-priority subjects with systematic revision of the remaining areas.
π€What if my GT score remains around 130-145?
Don't respond automatically by taking more and more GTs.
First determine whether the repeated errors are due to knowledge, recall, application, confusion, careless mistakes or time management.

A first-time aspirant may reasonably focus heavily on covering the syllabus.
A repeater has a different advantage: you already know what the examination experience feels like.Use that experience.
