Flatten the curve! Right now, we are staying at home and washing our hands a lot. It’s marked a change to those carefree months of early 2020 when we’re hanging out, shaking hands, hugging, and giving each other small daily gestures to know we’re connected and loved. But we all live in a different world now. Staying at home may sound like an introvert’s dream, but it hasn’t been a smooth transition for the more social among us. Fortunately, there are other ways to slowdown an outbreak. Above all, health officials have encouraged people to avoid public gatherings to stay home more often and to keep their distance from others, if people are less mobile and interact with each other less, the virus has fewer opportunities to spread. Some people will still go out, maybe they cannot stay home because of their work or other obligations, or maybe they simply refuse to head public health warnings. Those peoples are not only more likely to get sick themselves, they are more likely to spread the virus, too. This is a reminder to you that you should take part to “Flatten the curve” as doctors, nurses and other face a predicted surge in COVID-19 patients. Sending huge virtual hugs and healing vibes!
