❤️Jio IPO Liquidity Crisis: How MTF Liquidation Accelerated the Small-Cap Market Crash❤️ Watch my YouTube video from last week, where I clearly explained how the Jio IPO could suck liquidity out of the market and cause a market fall until 23rd October. During this period, the Nifty 50 index remained relatively stable, while background selling in small-cap and mid-cap stocks continued. The fall in small-cap stocks started from 8th October onwards, when DIIs started selling to shift money towards the Jio IPO. However, the real problem began when retail investors started panicking as the small-cap index continued to fall, fearing that the market would fall further. The sharp fall over the last 2–3 days was largely driven by panic selling from retail investors. At the same time, the Margin Trading Facility (MTF) created additional selling pressure when brokers started liquidating positions. Currently, retail investors' MTF exposure stands at approximately ₹1.5 lakh crore, with 45% of MTF capital invested in small-cap stocks and 29% in large-cap stocks. MTF has become a time bomb for the Indian stock market. Whenever panic grips the market, forced liquidation of MTF positions can accelerate the fall. I don't understand why investors are building positions through MTF when we knows that FIIs have been selling continuously. If FIIs continue selling, the market is likely to remain volatile. In such conditions, taking leveraged positions through MTF significantly increases the risk of losing capital. MTF is becoming one of the biggest risk for the Indian stock market. Whenever the market crashes for any reason, MTF can amplify the decline by triggering forced selling. I have repeatedly said that our small-cap stocks don't crash simply because of FII selling, high crude oil prices, or elevated bond yields. Small-cap stocks can face a crash when DIIs start selling for specific reasons, retail investors panic as the small-cap index continues to fall, and MTF liquidation adds further selling pressure. The recent sequence of events is important to understand. Mutual fund houses sold small-cap stocks for approximately 5–6 days, but the subsequent sharp fall was further intensified by panic selling and MTF liquidations by brokers. Investors must understand that excessive leverage can turn an ordinary market correction into a much sharper crash. The next market recovery will depend on how MTF positions are built and how brokers liquidate their positions. DIIs will get the remaining capital back after the Jio IPO listing because the IPO is oversubscribed. As a result, the excess money will flow back into the market, and DIIs may start investing again. Now, retail investors' MTF positions will play a crucial role in determining when small-cap stocks recover. If brokers stop liquidating MTF positions, we could see a recovery in small-cap stocks. Yesterday's FII and DII buying figures are evidence, that the last 2- 3 days market fall is primarily due to retail investors' panic selling and MTF liquidation.👇

💥The Real Sequence of Events Behind the Small-Cap Market Crash💥 On 7th October, Jio announced the dates for its IPO subscription, which was scheduled to begin on 19th October. Soon after that, from 8th October onwards, selective buying in IT stocks started pushing the Nifty 50 index higher, while selling pressure began building in small-cap stocks from mutual fund houses. Within a week, the Nifty 50 had moved towards the 23,100 level. The objective, was to keep the Nifty 50 positive ahead of the Jio IPO. Since Jio is a large-cap company, maintaining a positive sentiment in the broader market was important during the IPO period. While the Nifty 50 was moving up, selling in small-cap stocks continued in the background. The buying was concentrated in selected IT stocks to lift the Nifty 50 above the 23,000 level. But when FIIs are selling, it is difficult to manage the index for a long time through selective buying. As the Jio IPO subscription dates approached, mutual fund houses continued selling small-cap stocks. For the first time, we witnessed an unusual pattern: the small-cap index kept falling and was not recovering as it normally does. In previous corrections, small-cap stocks often recovered strongly after a fall. This time, however, the selling pressure continued. When retail investors saw that the Nifty 50 was relatively stable but small-cap stocks were falling vertically, panic started spreading across the market. Over the last two days, retail investors began panic selling because they feared that the small-cap index would continue falling. At the same time, brokers started squaring off positions funded through margin trading facilities. This wave of retail panic selling, combined with the forced liquidation of leveraged positions, intensified the market fall over the last two days. This Is the Sequence of Events Behind the Market Crash Very few people will explain this sequence of events . In my analysis, the Jio IPO was the main trigger behind the market crash. 💥Why Are Small-Cap Stocks Falling So Sharply?💥 Mutual fund houses started selling small-cap stocks aggressively to manage liquidity since last 10 days and arrange funds for the Jio IPO. This triggered the initial fall in the small-cap index. Now, retail investors are also contributing to the selling pressure due to panic. When the market falls vertically, many retail investors struggle to hold their positions and start selling out of fear. In addition, forced square-offs under the Margin Trading Facility (MTF) are adding further pressure to the market. The key point is that the selling pressure has changed in nature. The initial trigger, was liquidity shifting towards the Jio IPO. Now, retail panic selling and MTF-related liquidations appear to be contributing to the further decline. The entire fall started with the liquidity impact associated with the Jio IPO, and panic selling is now amplifying the correction.🚀🚀

💥October Market Crash: What Really Happened, and What Should Investors Do Now?💥 1. The Most Brutal Selling in Two Years This is the first major crash after nearly two years, and the selling has been exceptionally painful for small-cap and mid-cap investors. We witnessed similar selling between January and March 2025, when the market entered a prolonged and painful bear phase after the 2023–24 bull run. During that period, many investors saw their portfolios fall by 30–50%. However, we had not witnessed such persistent and one-sided selling since then, where portfolios were pushed deep into the red. Even the March 2026 market fall triggered by the war was less painful compared with the October correction. 2. Jio IPO and the Liquidity Shift In my analysis, the Jio IPO has been a major factor behind the recent selling pressure in small-cap and mid-cap . Retail investors’ SIP money was redirected from small-cap stocks into the Jio IPO. 3. Why Data Analysis Matters More Than Market Headlines Many so-called social media experts continue to attribute the market weakness to high crude oil prices, rising bond yields, Trump's tariffs and geopolitical tensions. Without proper data analysis, it becomes difficult to understand why certain stocks are falling, why some indices remain stable and why FIIs continue to sell Indian equities. 4. What Should Investors Do Now? Do not rush to buy simply because stock prices have fallen sharply. Wait for a sustained recovery in the market rather than reacting to a single positive trading session. Buying too early, without confirmation of a recovery, can expose investors to another round of selling. Focus on companies with: Companies with strong fundamentals and improving earnings visibility may recover faster when market sentiment improves. New-age sectors and high-growth businesses could also attract renewed investor interest. However, recovery will not be uniform across all stocks. Some companies may continue to underperform, even if the broader market rebounds. If you have strong fundamental stocks with strong future growth potential from emerging sectors in your portfolio, your portfolio will recover very quickly. Stocks with strong future growth potential cannot remain down for the long term. When the market recovers, such stocks tend to rebound strongly.🚀🚀

💥Why I Have Not Recommended Any Stocks in the Last 25 Days💥 For the last 25 days, I have not recommended any new stocks. Retail investors must understand the importance of quarterly results. Never rush to average down or buy a stock before its results are announced without carefully assessing the risks. Even a relatively weak quarterly result can trigger a sharp fall in a stock's price, regardless of its long-term growth potential. It is better to wait for the results, analyse the numbers and management commentary, and then make an informed investment decision. I anticipated that the Jio IPO could absorb significant market liquidity, which is why I decided to stay cautious. However, I did not expect fund houses to sell small-cap stocks so aggressively for 10 consecutive days. In my view, this Jio IPO subscription period has been an unusual experience. I have rarely seen such persistent selling pressure across small-cap stocks during an IPO subscription period. The heavy institutional participation, combined with relatively low retail participation, raises questions about how much of the IPO demand came from large institutional investors rather than ordinary retail investors. Over the last 10 days, the Nifty 50 appeared relatively resilient while small-cap and mid-cap stocks faced intense selling pressure. My observation is that selective buying in heavyweight IT stocks have managed Nifty 50 during this period. Investors can examine the charts of major IT companies to assess this pattern. The Nifty 50 remained relatively stable, while many small-cap and mid-cap stocks continued to fall, creating an impression among outside investors that the overall market was performing well during the Jio IPO listing process. This was a clear sign of market manipulation throughout the IPO process.💥💥

💥Jio IPO: The Main Reason Behind the Small-Cap Market Crash💥 Today is the last day of the Jio IPO subscription. Institutional investors account for a major share of the participation, while retail investor participation has been relatively low. In my view, the heavy institutional participation may have contributed to liquidity shifting from small-cap stocks to the Jio IPO. Institutional investors have sold small-cap holdings to free up capital for IPO participation, creating significant selling pressure across the small-cap market. This could be one of the key reasons why small-cap stocks crashed despite having strong fundamentals and promising future growth prospects. The last 10 days have been extremely difficult for retail investors. It appears that the rush to mobilise funds for the Jio IPO has put tremendous pressure on small-cap stocks, including fundamentally strong companies with excellent growth potential. Since the Jio IPO dates were announced, small-cap stocks have struggled to recover, with selling pressure remaining persistent throughout the subscription period. Meanwhile, the Nifty 50 has remained relatively resilient. This sharp correction in small-cap stocks may be driven largely by liquidity pressure rather than any fundamental weakness in individual companies. Once the IPO subscription process is over, we need to watch whether selling pressure eases and liquidity begins returning to the small-cap segment. Retail investors should understand that even fundamentally strong stocks can fall sharply when liquidity shifts across the market.

💥Small & Midcap Recovery Expected Soon ,Jio IPO Liquidity Pressure May Ease 💥 The MOVE Index is coming down below 100, and Jio’s IPO subscription is scheduled to end tomorrow. Therefore, we may see a recovery in small-cap and mid-cap stocks very soon. However, this time, the recovery may be gradual because many companies have not yet announced their Q2 results. From next month onward, we could see a stronger rally in the small-cap and mid-cap indices. Please understand that FII selling may continue, primarily because India lacks sufficient exposure to high-growth AI investment opportunities compared with the US market. Even if US AI stocks crash for any reason, FIIs may invest more in them if they become available at more attractive valuations. Ultimately, markets chase growth, and Indian large-cap stocks are far behind leading US AI companies in terms of growth. This is why, as long as FII selling continues, large-cap stocks may not generate returns, as FIIs typically sell heavily in large-cap stocks. In the current market, high-growth stocks offer better opportunities to generate strong returns. Volatility will remain, but companies with strong growth prospects have the potential to outperform. Low-growth stocks may continue to underperform because this is not a market like 2023–24, when almost every stock participated in the rally. When FIIs are selling and the overall market is underperforming, stock selection becomes extremely important. The last 10 days have been particularly painful for small-cap stocks. In my view, the Jio IPO may have absorbed significant liquidity from the small-cap segment, as some investors and fund managers have sold existing holdings to arrange funds for the IPO subscription. Once the Jio IPO subscription closes tomorrow, we may see selling pressure in small-cap stocks ease, potentially paving the way for a recovery.💥
