[1/2] Samsung's SmartSwitch, a failure.
Well, you all know Samsung's SmartSwitch application. It is used to switch to a new phone, get your data from your old phone and back up your device with PC/mobile devices. So far Samsung says:
SmartSwitch can backup all your data, internal memory, app data, SDCard, contacts, Wi-Fi passwords, homescreen layout, settings, wallpapers and more. I repeat, "APP DATA"
So about a month and a half ago, I tried it. It backupped all my data expect WhatsApp it already warns you about this on app. Says use WhatsApp's built-in cloud backup system. I did use it.
So after about 2 hours I flashed the exact same firmware and restored my backup. And %90 of the app data was not backed up. It only backed up the apk. My Twitch was gone, Discord, Telegram, ExteraGram, Termux, Banks etc.
So Samsung, WHY THE FUCK DOES IT SAY IT IS BACKING UP YOUR APP DATA????
[2/2] Take a backup with root, before its too late.
Imagine you work in a big company like Samsung (:D) and there is a app that holds 10GB data. And you gonna use SmartSwitch to lose it right XD. Root your device, install SwiftBackup and do it. Actually pay for Cloud Backup too! It's not expensive.
