Quantum information science and technology (QIST) will provide transformational capabilities that will drive American innovation, power economic growth, generate high-paying jobs, and bolster national security.... Sec. 5 ... (iv) the Administrator of NASA shall develop a plan for developing and extending civilian quantum sensing and networking for space applications. While the goal of Trump's EO appears to be promoting scientific innovation in developing quantum technologies, the real goals are twofold. First, to bring about the release of transformative quantum technologies from the classified world into the public arena. Second, to lift secrecy orders on over 6500 patent applications that have been blocked according to the Patent and Trademark Office. The DOJ announced that a USAID official and several executives pleaded guilty in a bribery scheme involving more than $550 million in contracts. Meanwhile Ro Khanna is calling for Elon Musk to be investigated over DOGE spending cuts. Elon responded by calling for Khanna's arrest. Khanna reported 4,300 stock trades in one year with $59 million in total trade volume and recently purchased a $9.5 million home in DC. DOGE simply asked where taxpayer money was going. The person who asked the question is being attacked because the answer is damning.
