Ans. Montu asked Chintu what his father had said when he had broken the window glass. Chintu asked him if he should omit the bad words. Replying in the affirmative, Montu said that he could. Chintu said that his father had said nothing else. Montu asked him what he meant.
12. Reporter : How do you feel after getting so much success?
Sania : I feel great. But I know I have to work harder now.
Reporter : Were you nervous while playing in the Wimbledon?
Sania : Yes, a little.
Reporter : Do you believe in God?
Sania : Yes, I do.
Ans. A reporter asked Sania how she felt after getting so much success. Sania replied that she felt great and added that she knew she had to work harder then. The reporter asked her if she was nervous while playing in the Wimbledon. Replying in the affirmative, Sania said that she was a little nervous. The reporter asked her if she believed in God. Sania replied that she believed in God.
13. Mr Patel : The rent of this house is Rs. 2000 per month.
Deepak : Are the electricity charges included in it?
Mr Patel : No, you will have to pay for electricity.
Deepak : Will I get breakfast, lunch and dinner?
Mr Patel : You will get only breakfast.
Ans. Mr Patel told Deepak that the rent of that house Rs. 2000 per month. Deepak asked him if the electricity charges were included in it. Replying in the negative, Mr Patel said that he would have to pay for electricity. Deepak asked if he would get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Mr Patel said that he would get only breakfast.
14. Teacher Have you done your home work?
Vinay : No, I haven't. I was absent yesterday.
Teacher : Why didn't you come to school yesterday?
Vinay : I was not well.
Teacher : How are you feeling now?
Ans. Teacher asked Vinay if he had done his homework. Vinay said that he hadn't and added that he was absent the day before. The teacher asked him why he hadn't come to school the day before. Vinay said that he was not well. The teacher asked him how he was feeling then.
15. Vivek : It was raining very heavily yesterday.
Amar : Yes, the roads were flooded.
Vivek : We could not go to school.
Amar : And we could not go out to play.
Vivek : We made paper boats and floated them in the water collected on the road.
Ans. Vivek said that it had been raining very heavily the day before. Amar agreed and said that the roads had been flooded. Vivek said that they could not go to school. 16. Raj : Madam, where are you going?
Mrs Anand : I am going to the hospital. My child is ill.

Ans. Ketan asked Shyam what he was doing. Shyam said that he was reading a book. Ketan asked him if he could help him.
4. Ram : What are you doing?
Jay : I am looking for my keys.
Ram : Did you see in your pocket?
Ans. Ram asked Jay what he was doing. Jay said that he was looking for his keys. Ram asked him if he had seen in his pocket.
5. Rohan : I am not feeling well.
Vibha : What happened?
Rohan : I have fever and headache.
Ans. Rohan said that he was not feeling well. Vibha asked him what had happened. Rohan replied that he had fever and headache.
6. Anurag : I want to meet the principal today.
Abhay : Do you want leave?
Anurag : I want to change my division.
Ans. Anurag said that he wanted to meet the principal that day. Abhay asked him if he wanted leave. Anurag said that he wanted to change his division.
7. Father : Where shall we go for a holiday?
Mita : Let's go to Goa.
Harsh : I want to go to Kashmir.
Ans. Father asked the children where they should go for a holiday. Mita suggested that they should go to Goa. Harsh said that he wanted to go to Goa. Harsh said that he wanted to go to Kashmir.

Ankita : It belongs to Mr Verma.
Gaurav : I think he works in my father's office.
