The Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority revealed on Thursday the approval of the Israeli occupation authorities of a huge structural settlement plan in favor of the settlement of “Maswah” built on Palestinian citizens' land in the Ghor Al-Fara'a area in Jericho governorate, within the framework of the accelerated settlement expansion policy targeting the Palestinian valley area.
The authority explained that the plan, which bears the number "יוש/1/6/312", aims to establish 517 new settlement units on an area of 1692 dunums, which constitutes a significant expansion in the settlement structure of the settlement at the expense of Palestinian land in the region, noting that the plan was deposited in the planning committees for the first time on November 25, 2025.
The authority added that the plan is not limited to residential construction only, but includes the establishment of public institutions, service areas, infrastructure, road networks, open areas and operational facilities.
