| 3 | ♻️ Importance of learning the right way to offer the Salaah
1️⃣ Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:
❝Indeed the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Salaah. If it is complete, he is successful and saved, but if it is defective, he has failed and lost. So if something is deficient in his obligatory (prayers) then the Lord عز وجل will say (to the Angels while He knows best): {Look and see whether My slave has any voluntary prayers to make up for what is deficient from his obligatory prayers.} Then the rest of his deeds will be treated like that.❞
📚[Sunan al-Tirmidhee (413) and the wordings are his, Sunan Abu Dawood (864), Sunan al-Nasaa’ee (465, 466, 467), and Sunan Ibn Maajah (1425, 1426) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee.
2️⃣ `Ammaar bin Yasir رضي الله عنهما said: I heard the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ say: ❝ A man returns after saying his prayer while only a tenth part of his prayer, or a ninth part, or an eight part, or a seventh part, or a sixth part, or a fifth part, or a third part, or half of it, is recorded for him.❞

3️⃣ Narrated Zaid bin Wahb: Hudhaifah رضي الله عنه saw a person who was not performing the bowing and prostration perfectly. He said to him: ❝You have not prayed and if you should die you would die on a religion other than that of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.❞

4️⃣ Zayd bin Wahb reports: We were once sitting in the Masjid with Hudhaifah (ibn Al-Yamaan) رضي الله عنه when a man entered from the gates of Kindah and stood to pray; but he did not complete the bowing or prostration postures. When he had finished praying, Hudhaifah asked him: ❝How long have you been praying in this manner?❞ The man replied: “For forty years.” Hudhaifah said: ❝You have not prayed for forty years! And if you were to die praying in this manner you would die upon a way (fitrah) other than the way of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.❞

| 8 | How Can a Person Turn All of His Actions into Remembrance of Allah?
Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:
A person should know that he can turn all of his actions into remembrance of Allah by intending the reward of Allah in everything he does.
He should not speak except while hoping for reward from Allah, nor refrain from something except while hoping for reward from Allah, nor perform any action except while seeking reward from Allah through it.
The Prophet ﷺ said to Saʿd ibn Abī Waqqāṣ:
“You will never spend anything seeking thereby the Face of Allah except that you will be rewarded for it—even for the morsel that you place into your wife’s mouth.”
The Prophet ﷺ also informed us that when a man spends on himself, it is counted as charity for him.
Therefore, the successful person—and I ask Allah to make me and you among them—is able to transform his ordinary habits and natural desires into acts of worship. When he does so, he becomes one who remembers Allah.
So if you wish Allah to place blessing in your lifespan and in your time, then cling to the remembrance of Allah.
Allah, the Most High, said:
﴿الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ﴾
“Those who remember Allah while standing, sitting, and lying on their sides.” [Āl ʿImrān: 191]
There is no doubt that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the most abundant of people in the remembrance of Allah and the most constant of them in remembering Him.
Because of that, Allah placed blessing in his life, in his deeds, in his speech, and in his actions.

The one who leaves off salah is a disbeliever
Imām Ibn Battāh said:
“And establishing the prayer” is the action—it is the very religion that Allāh sent His messengers with and commanded the believers to uphold. So, what do you suppose—may Allāh have mercy on you—about someone who says: “Prayer is not part of īmān”?
Yet Allāh the Exalted says: “Turn to Him in repentance, fear Him, and establish the prayer—and do not be of the polytheists.” [al-Rūm: 31]
Thus, Allāh made the one who abandons the prayer a mushrik, expelled from īmān—because this address is directed to believers, warning them not to abandon the prayer and thereby fall out of faith and become like the polytheists.
And Allāh the Exalted also says: “The only ones who maintain the mosques of Allāh are those who believe in Allāh and the Last Day, establish the prayer, give the zakāh, and fear none but Allāh. It is they who are likely to be among the guided.” [al-Tawbah: 18]
He has said that those who believe in Allāh, the Last Day, establish the prayer, and give zakāh, are the ones who truly believe. There is no separation between īmān and the prayer and zakāh. Thus, one who does not believe will not benefit from the prayer, and one who does not pray will not benefit from īmān.
The place of prayer in īmān has been firmly established, and Allāh the Exalted has placed it at the highest level of religion. He has made it obligatory to perform it in a state of purity with water, and prayer is not valid without it. And when Allāh knew that His servants would sometimes lack water or be in a condition where they cannot use water, He made the substitute of tayammum with earth, so that no one would have an excuse to leave the prayer or delay it beyond its time.
He also made provisions for those in extreme danger, such as during battle, allowing them to perform it in the most critical conditions. Thus, He taught them how to perform it in every situation.
So, who could be more ignorant, less knowledgeable, more misguided, or more disrespectful to the Book of Allāh, the Sunnah of His Messenger, and the teachings of īmān and the law of Islām than the one who knows that Allāh has made prayer obligatory, placed it at the core of īmān, and mandated its establishment under all conditions—including extreme ones—yet goes against this by following his desires and modern opinions, which have led him astray? He becomes one who opposes the Messenger after the guidance has been made clear to him, follows a path other than that of the believers, and so Allāh abandons him to what he has chosen and casts him into Hell, and what a wretched end it is.

- Conveying Salutations upon the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم
- Performing Ghusl
- Wearing your best / clean clothes
- Applying oil / perfume for men
- Using a Miswāk
- Going to the Masjid early
- Reciting Sūrah al-Kahf (18)
- Seeking the hour when Du’ā is accepted
The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created. on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it, and the last hour will not take place except on the day of Friday.”
[صحيح مسلم ٨٥٤]
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “The best of days with Allāh is the day of Jumu’ah (Friday).”
[صحيح الجامع ،١٠٩٨ السلسة الصحيحة ١٥٠٢]

Ibn Mas’ūd عنه هللا رضي said: “The leader of all days is Friday and the leader of all months is Ramadān.”
[ابن أبي شيبه في المصنف ٥٥٥٢]
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever performs a Ghusl thoroughly on Friday, proceeds (to the Masjid) early, comes close (to the Imām), listens closely and remains silent, for every step he takes, he will have the reward of fasting and standing (in prayer) for one year.”
[جامع الترمذي ٤٩٦]
The Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Send prayer upon me
abundantly on the day of Jumu’ah and on the night of Jumu’ah, for he who sends prayer upon me one time, Allāh sends prayer upon him ten times.”
[صحيح الجامع ١٢٠٩]
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “On every Friday, the angels take their stand at every gate of the Masjid to write the names of the people chronologically (i.e. according to the time of their arrival for the Friday prayer) and when the Imām sits (on the Minbar) they fold up their scrolls and listen to the
khutbah.”
[صحيح البخاري ٣٢١١]
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “If it is the day of Jumu’ah and a man performs a Ghusl, and he thus washes his head, and utilizes his best fragrance and wears an item of his good clothing, and then he leaves to pray (in the Masjid) and he does not divide two people sitting next to each other, and then he listens attentively to the Imām, his sins from one Jumu’ah to the next will be forgiven and three additional days.”
[الترغيب ١٠٢٥]
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever reads Sūrah al-Kahf on Friday will be illuminated with light from that Friday to the next.”
[الترغيب ١٠٦٣]
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Indeed, there is an hour on Friday, a Muslim does not ask Allāh for anything (good) in it, except that it is given to him.”
[صحيح مسلم ،٨٥٢ سنن النسائي ١٤٣١]
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Friday is comprised of twelve hours. There is one in which a Muslim who asks Allāh for something will have it granted to him, so seek it in the last hour after ‘Asr.”
[سنن أبي داود ١٠٤٨]

| 12 | Narrated AbuBarzah al-Aslami: The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
يَا مَعْشَرَ مَنْ آمَنَ بِلِسَانِهِ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلِ الإِيمَانُ قَلْبَهُ لاَ تَغْتَابُوا الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُوا عَوْرَاتِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ عَوْرَاتِهِمْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ وَمَنْ يَتَّبِعِ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ يَفْضَحْهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ".
O you who have believed with your tongues, and belief has not entered your hearts, do not backbite Muslims, and do not search for their faults, for whoever searches for their faults, Allah will search for his faults, and whoever Allah searches for his faults, He will disgrace him in his own house.

| 16 |  * Surah Qaf: Ayah 23-29*
These ayahs describe a scene from *The Day of Judgment*:
1. *Deeds are presented* - The recording angel brings forth the book of each person’s actions.
2. *Command to Hell* - Allah orders stubborn disbelievers, those who blocked good, transgressed, doubted, and committed shirk to be thrown into Hell.
3. *No blame on others* - The companion/Shaytan denies forcing them, saying they chose to go astray on their own.
4. *Allah’s Justice* - Allah ends all arguments. The warning was already given, His decision is final, and He is never unjust to His servants.
Every person is accountable. We were warned, we chose, and Allah judges with perfect justice.
