Apple's git still trusts the compromised eMudhra certificates https://emudhra.we-have-a-problem.com/apple.html

Dr. Claude , is like this
Human> query.sh wrote to query.log, which indicates a bug
Dr. Claude> query.log is not from query.sh. it only has 7 entries with numeric labels (1001, 971, 985, 986, 995, 108, 1003), but the script I wrote loops over 13 literal string names
Human> that's the output of query.sh, damn bot. and your script is wrong!
Dr. Claude> Found it — GROUPS is a reserved bash special variable <bla bla bla>
Human> how the fucking you told query.log isn't from the current query.sh and now you found a bug?
Dr. Claude> I was wrong earlier and shouldn't have told you it was stale — it was real output from the script, I just didn't recognize the cause on first look
Really? Come right to conclusion and then say sorry, What!

#journald #systemd Remove all logs! You don't need them for any reason :D
sudo journalctl --rotate && sudo journalctl --vacuum-time=1s

More info about privatebin is found from https://privatebin.info/ . Technically your sharing data is encrypted at your client side, and the key (which is part of the URL fragment) never touches server. In theory, the server would never see your data. A simple viber-{bash,python} version: https://github.com/icy/vibe-privatebin/tree/main

#devops #sharing #private https://privatebin.net/ is a clean sharing site. For code, text and so on. Please keep in mind, you always leave some trail on internet. The only way to hide yourself is to turn off your router... ! Update: The site is hosted by opensource software. There are a few cli tools. For example this one is written in Rust: https://github.com/Mydayyy/pbcli#user-guide

#debian #linux #opensource #ai Debian votes to allow "responsible use of generative AI" (https://lwn.net/Articles/1091231/) tl;dr: AI or not, it's still your code and you're responsible for it
Debian neither endorses nor prohibits the use of generative AI tools in the development, maintenance, or documentation of software, packaging, documentation, and other media published within the Debian Project. We recognize that such tools can substantially improve the productivity of contributors when used responsibly, allowing volunteers to spend more of their limited time on work that requires technical expertise, judgment, review, and collaboration. The Debian Project nevertheless expects that all contributions submitted to Debian, regardless of how and with which tools they were produced, satisfy the same standards of quality, correctness, maintainability, and legal compliance. The use of a generative AI tool does not diminish the contributor's responsibility for the work they submit. Contributors are expected to understand, review, test, and, where appropriate, modify AI-assisted output before incorporating it into Debian.
