Well, well, well... South Africans (I made a mistake earlier by stating it was Nigerians) are dealing with immigration just as we are. I had NO idea. I hope you can see this video 👇👇👇, it's on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/reel/1576999983991810

‼️TORONTO FRIENDS‼️... CHECK OUT THIS NONSENSE DOING DOWN IN CITY HALL TOMORROW, JUNE 3rd. And if you are NOT in Toronto, suggest you check it out for entertainment purposes. I don't think it will disappoint! 🤡 Tomorrow, the TTC Board will consider a presentation called "Indigenous Wayfinding on the TTC" as Agenda Item TTC15.4. According to the proposal, riders would be guided through stations using animal icons based on the "Seven Grandfather Teachings", including icons of a wolf , bear, bison, beaver, turtle, eagle, and raven to guide indigenous riders. The presenter argues this will help "decolonize how people orient themselves" and improve navigation through the transit system. Read the presentation for yourself and decide whether this is reconciliation or patronization: https://www.toronto.ca/legdocs/mmis/2026/ttc/bgrd/backgroundfile-287450.pdf ... be prepared for the absolute nonsense 🤪you are doing to be subjected to in this presentation. The underlying premise appears to be that Indigenous people require animal symbols to help them navigate a modern subway station. Not only is that unsupported by evidence, it is insulting. Indigenous people are fully capable of navigating Toronto's transit system the same way everyone else does. Suggesting otherwise reduces Indigenous culture to a stereotype and risks treating Indigenous knowledge as a novelty rather than respecting Indigenous people as equals. I will say that last part again - EQUALS. If the TTC wants to improve wayfinding, then improve wayfinding for everyone 👍. Better signage, clearer exits, and more intuitive station design benefit all riders regardless of ancestry. The TTC Board meeting takes place tomorrow, June 3, 2026 in person at City Hall, Committee Room 1. To register to speak or submit comments, click the link below: https://secure.toronto.ca/council/#/committees/2944/27513 Agenda Item: TTC15.4 – Indigenous Wayfinding on the TTC: https://secure.toronto.ca/council/agenda-item.do?item=2026.TTC15.4 Read the presentation. Make up your own mind. Then let the TTC Board know what you really think.

As announced during last week’s Zoom, there will not be a Friday Zoom tonight. After 6 years of weekly meetings, I've made the difficult decision to step away from the regular Friday night Zoom format. This decision comes after a great deal of reflection, recognizing the reality of burnout and the need to dedicate more time and energy toward personal projects, family, and other ongoing initiatives. I am incredibly grateful to every single person who showed up week after week, shared their voice, supported one another, and helped build such a strong and engaged community. The connections and conversations we’ve had together have meant more than words can express. This is not goodbye. I will be returning with special monthly Zoom events featuring special guests, important updates, and meaningful discussions. This new format will continue to bring value to the community while creating a more manageable path forward. Please stay tuned for announcements and future updates through our regular channels Stand4THEE channels. Thank you again for your continued support, encouragement, and commitment to standing together. With much gratitude and appreciation, Rebecca You can watch all the Friday Zoom replays on our Rumble channel HERE: https://rumble.com/v79wl5g-s4t-friday-zoom-may-15-s4t-update.html

‼️Stand4THEE Friday Zoom @8PM (EST)‼️ Tonight we have a Stand4THEE update! Stand4THEE started in 2020 as a voice for Canadians who opposed lockdowns, mandates and gov overreach when many people felt silenced and alone. What began as a "freedom" movement grew into a platform dedicated to education, lawful action and empowering Canadians with knowledge. Through public discussions, research, court case analysis and community support, S4T has worked to help people better understand their rights, the legal system and how to navigate legal and government processes. Over the years, we've followed and supported real court cases involving rights, government overreach, due process, bodily autonomy, and freedom of expression. We have encouraged Canadians to become informed, engaged and prepared to stand on lawful principles in the face of growing challenges. Join us to learn what's next for S4T! It will not be making any stops in any of the communities that it cuts in half. This train would only serve people going from city to city. In Ontario, there are only 3 cities on the plan. Toronto, Peterborough and Ottawa. It would bring no benefit to all of our small communities nor to smaller cities like Kingston or Brockville. In rural eastern Ontario, we sit along the UNESCO protected Rideau waterway, and are home to the Frontenac Arch Biosphere, which is also a UNESCO protected area. We have many endangered species at risk here and the train would also be blocking a vital wildlife migration pathway between Algonquin park and Adirondack park in the US, across the great lakes. One of Alto’s proposed route options would be along the Cataraqui trail - part of the Trans-Canada trail network, which stretches across the entire country. Because this project would be deemed to be in the national public interest, all existing environmental protection laws would be removed. Alto CEO has stated that they expect to cross through 1700 properties in the Ottawa to Montreal corridor alone. (Do a search for "Montreal-Ottawa high-speed rail line could cross 1,700 properties, Alto predicts" to find the CBC article about this). How many do you think might be affected in the GTA? I think we have more pressing needs as Canadians than faster trains, especially right now (healthcare and homelessness are the first things that come to mind). The cost of this train is projected to be astronomical - estimated $90 billion, while our country is already $1.3 TRILLION in debt. We all know that these things tend to go way over budget and way over schedule (there are many recent examples of this). Even if the whole project eventually gets cancelled (like Mirabel and the Pickering airport project) the money would already be spent and the land would be expropriated. The plan is to choose the route by the end of 2026 and to begin expropriation in the Ottawa-Montreal section immediately, with the rest of the land expected to be expropriated by 2029. People in the cities seem to be largely unaware of this, and they really need to know. A high-speed train sounds great on paper, but the logistics of how they are planning it are atrocious! Here are a few helpful websites for more info: https://www.altno.ca/ https://savesouthfrontenac.ca/ https://altohsrcitizenresearch.ca/ The Alto map of potentially expropriated zones (zoom in. If you're in the purple streak, you might potentially lose your home): https://en.consultation.altotrain.ca/shaping-the-canada-of-tomorrow-with-high-speed-rail/places/interact-map%E2%81%A0 For a more detailed map, click here: https://highspeedrailmap.ca/ You can look on facebook for the many groups who are opposed in various regions across the route. Here's a little video I made. I am a rural resident who has lived for many years in both Toronto and Montreal, and I have family in Toronto. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBGaR7MwkxY Please sign the petition (make sure you check your email after to confirm): https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-7203 And this one, which is specific to expropriation: https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-7207 And finally, this video from back in March. Our Minister for Transportation, Steven McKinnon talking about when expropriation will begin, and his lack of an answer for how many overpasses there will be, to cross the solid fence of the HSR line. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=tJTznZ20O7Y

Happening LIVE right now at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. The Crown is all but begging the court to give Pat King 5 years in prison over his role in one of the largest and most peaceful protests in Canadian history. For many Canadians, this case goes far beyond one man. It raises serious questions about protest, dissent, and the limits of state power in a free society. The appeal is being heard by the following justices: • Justice Madsen • Justice Paciocco • Justice Pomerance Whatever happens to Mr. King today could shape how peaceful protest is treated in Canada going forward. If you can, watch the hearing and bear witness. Court of Appeal for Ontario – Live Hearing 📅 Monday, May 11 🕚 Start Time: 11:15 AM Zoom Link: https://ca01web.zoom.us/j/69144051279?pwd=b15K8ouIHV07bBaPaszKdXRBp0bNeA.1 Passcode: 918226
