Wreckage inspection revealed fractured seat locking pins, specifically part number BACB30LN5S02, as the point of failure. Notably, maintenance logs confirm the seat had been serviced just 11 days prior to the crash for issues related to āstiff adjustment.ā
However, investigators found no documentation of a post-repair functional test, which is a critical oversight in the aircraft's maintenance chain.
