hi! just a quick post to clarify and answer the most widely-asked question from buyers, "how much is second payment" or "can you estimate international shipping?", etc. the short answer second payment is requested because i cannot provide estimates. personally, i only make buyers pay for international shipping after getting the shipping quote to prevent over/under-estimating shipping costs. the long answer international shipping cost varies with a few factors, namely 1. weight of the item - if its a new type of item that i have never shipped before, i wouldn't know the exact weight 2. courier company chosen - when the parcel value exceeds a certain limit, i am forced to use ems/dhl, and different shipping companies have different rates 3. consolidation of parcel - different parcels have different number of items to share international shipping, the same item can end up having a different shipping fee in a different parcel 4. currency/exchange rate fluctuations as you can see, there are so many variables and thus it is very difficult to estimate your second payment, unless quoted to me at checkout like cdjapan. hope this helps buyers to understand why some sellers have to rely on second payments, thank you!
