Breaking has improved a lot in terms of difficulty while losing a lot in style, uniqueness, vision, approach, character, musicality and simply ENJOYING while moving, the freedom of mind, body, soul, taking the risk to build the moment! Is it bad? - no! It is just different in the particular period of time! What I have noticed is that the HUNGER for missing ingredients is getting bigger and there is a tendency that very soon we might see more and more bboys/bgirls with absolutely different approach to Breaking than we witnessing nowadays at events, especially high level professional competitions. Free and musically connected breaking which is still packed with concepts and details is delivering a huge contrast in the battle. You can feel that pure energy and nothing can stop it. I’m writing this msg not to disrespect anyone or to take something from someone! My goal is to focus attention on that question: which direction are we going to continue to grow and what are we missing or looking for in nowadays Breaking. Ask yourself, where you at now, what are you missing in Breaking, what you can change to make it better, what you need to work on to keep it interesting!?
