Writing things down of what we can expect in the future seems to be something that Allah asks us rhetorically: “is this knowledge of the unseen with you, or with me?” [52:41] [68:47]. A reminder from what was previously mentioned – The Hour is The Hour of Resurrection. After hearing the guidance from Nabi Muhammad (ﷺ) they say mockingly, “what did he just say?!” [47:16]. They are not people of “guidance” and “awareness” of Allah [47:17]. The question is being asked rhetorically, “do you consider The Hour as though it will not come بَغْتَةً suddenly?” [47:18].

The Hour has come near, and the moon has split. [54:1] And if they see an evidence, they turn away and say: "Continuous magic." [54:2]

I just found this, you know how The knowledge of the Hour is also only with Allah (SWT) and that in 47:18, He says that its conditions have already happened and that it will come unexpectedly, so it would not be unexpected if we are still waiting for the moon to split in two. [47:18] Are they waiting but for the Hour to come to them suddenly? Its conditions have already come. So when it comes upon them, what good then will their reminder be to them?

Question brother, I think you may be able to answer me, you know how Allah (SWT) talks about the day of judgement and the future in the past tense because to Allah (SWT) Who is beyond past, present and future, the All-Knowing it is all already past, the verse about the splitting of the moon, do you think it has already happened as we are all told or is it yet to happen? My personal thought is that it is a warning of Allah (SWT) so it must be a muhkamat verse so it is clear and it has already happened, but I wish to hear your perspective to check.
