TUTORIAL SCHEDULE FOR REMEDIAL BROTHERS

Title : Ramadan End: Keeping the Light Alive Beyond the Month DEAR DDUMSJ STUDENTS , بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم *In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.* السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ As we bid farewell to the blessed month of Ramadan, we must remember that the end of Ramadan is not the end of our worship—it is the beginning of a stronger, more conscious faith. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"The most beloved deed to Allah is the one that is consistent, even if it is small."* (Bukhari & Muslim) Ramadan was our spiritual boot camp—now, the real test begins. Will we maintain the good habits we built, or will we let Shaytan drag us back into negligence? ----------------------------------------------- 1. Preserve the Spirit of Taqwa (God-Consciousness) Allah says: "And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is taqwa." (Quran 2:197) - Avoid sins you abandoned in Ramadan (backbiting, wasting time, neglecting prayers). - Keep checking your intentions—do you seek Allah’s pleasure or people’s praise? - Fast occasionally (Sunnah fasts like Mondays & Thursdays, or the 6 days of Shawwal). --------------------------------------------------- 2. Don’t Abandon the Qur’an Many of us finished the Qur’an in Ramadan—but now what? - Set a daily goal (even 1 page with reflection). - Listen to Tafsir (explanation) to deepen understanding. - Join a Qur’an study circle at the university musallah. *"This is a Book which We have sent down to you, full of blessings, that they may ponder over its verses..."* (Quran 38:29) ------------------------------------------------- 3. Guard Your Salah (Prayer) Ramadan revived our prayers—don’t let them weaken now. - Never miss Fajr—it’s the most difficult but most rewarding. - Pray Sunnah & Tahajjud when possible. - Pray in congregation (Jama’ah)—it has 27x more reward! The Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"The covenant between us and them (hypocrites) is the prayer. Whoever abandons it has disbelieved."* (Tirmidhi) ------------------------------------------------ 4. Continue Charity & Kindness Ramadan taught us generosity—don’t stop now. - Give regularly, even if small (a smile is charity too!). - Help struggling classmates with studies or food. - Volunteer in Muslim student activities (da’wah, charity drives). "The believer’s shade on Judgment Day will be his charity."(Tirmidhi) ------------------------- 5. Maintain Good Character (Akhlaq) Ramadan polished our manners—let’s keep them shining. - Control anger—forgive and be patient. - Speak kindly—avoid gossip and arguments. - Respect teachers & classmates—you represent Islam. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"Nothing weighs heavier on the Scale than good character."* (Abu Dawud) --- 6. Stay Away from Bad Influences Shaytan is back—don’t let him trick you! - Avoid sinful gatherings (music, gossip, wasting time). - Limit social media & useless entertainment. - Choose righteous friends who remind you of Allah. *"Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah."* (Tirmidhi) --- 7. Set Goals for the Rest of the Year Ramadan was a reset—now build on it. - Islamic goal: Memorize a new Surah, learn Tajweed. - Academic goal: Study hard but don’t neglect Deen. - Personal goal: Improve a bad habit (laziness, anger). --- => Final Advice: Be Among the "People of the Mosque" The Prophet (ﷺ) said: *"There are seven whom Allah will shade under His shade on the Day when there is no shade except His... A youth who grew up in the worship of Allah..."* (Bukhari) Don’t be a "Ramadan Muslim"—be an ALL-YEAR Muslim! --- =>Dua for Steadfastness *"رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ"* *"Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us. Grant us Your mercy. May Allah accept our Ramadan, forgive our sins, and make us among those who remain steadfast. Ameen! *وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ* ---
