In 2019, 613M (43.5%) OCEAN was minted with the majority distributed to token acquirors, Ocean community via grants and Ocean Protocol Fd'n for admin&ops. 56.5% remained. As of May 2023, it will be minted for community. The unminted 56.5% (797M OCEAN) OCEAN will be minted for community incentives programs. Data Farming is big kahuna here. It's now stable enough to be ready for its budgeted OCEAN, which vests over decades. Felt Labs has completed their most recent milestone inside the Ocean Protocol Shipyard - Grants Program. Felt Labs creates a web app platform for running, viewing and managing federated learning jobs. FELT uses Ocean Protocol compute to data. This trains ML models or runs data analytics algorithms on multiple datasets simultaneously. Federated learning is a Machine Learning approach where an algorithm is trained on multiple decentralized servers holding local data samples, without exchanging the data itself.
