Tasbih of the Concious. (Summarised by Ahlul Athar) Ibn al-Jawzī (raḥimahullāh) writes: ‘The heedless one says سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ out of habit. As for the conscious one, he is constantly thinking about the wonders of creation, or the awesome nature of the Creator, and this thinking drives him to say سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ. Thus, this tasbīḥ is the fruit of these thoughts, and this is the tasbīḥ of the conscious… Likewise, they think about the ugliness of past sins, and this leads them to ponder, to have anxiety and to have regret. The fruit of this thought is that they say استغفر الله. This is the true tasbīḥ and istighfār. As for the heedless, they merely utter these out of habit. 🌙 THE MONTH OF ALLAAH - Al MUHARRAM 🌙 PART 2️⃣ of 🔟 ➡️ Introduction about the Month of Muharram. 🎓 Shaykh Salih al Fawzan حفظهم الله : In The Name of Allaah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy. O people! Fear Allaah (The Most High) and thank Him for the apparent and unapparent blessings He has bestowed upon you.  He has not ceased granting you occasions of good and virtue.  The month of hajj has elapsed and now you have reached the month of Al-Muharram, which Allaah has specially chosen. Firstly: Muharram is amongst those months in which Allaah made fighting forbidden.  Allaah (The Most High) said: (إِنَّ عِدَّةَ الشُّهُورِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ اثْنَا عَشَرَ شَهْراً فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ خَلَقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ مِنْهَا أَرْبَعَةٌ حُرُمٌ) ‘’ Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred.’’ [9:36] These four months are: Dhul Qida, Dhul Hijja, the Month of Muharram and Rajab—Allaah made fighting forbidden during these months in order that those who performed the Hajj and Umrah are safe in their journey to Hajj and Umrah.  However, when Islaam came—all praise is due to Allaah—safety became widespread and the disbelievers were driven away and Jihaad in the path of Allaah (The Might and Majestic) was established whenever that was possible. 📎Source: http://alfawzan.af.org.sa/node/15019. Ibn al-Jawzi once wrote: [وينبغي للإنسان أن يعلم أن أعز الأشياء شيئان : قلبه ووقته. فإذا أهمل وقته وضيع قلبه ذهبت منه الفوائد] Each person should know that two things are more precious than any others: his heart and his time If a person wastes his time and lets his heart go to waste, he will be devoid of all good.
