Like today, at this very same time, I lost a piece of my soul.
The one whose value I didn't realize I was missing.
I didn't even feel his presence until it was his last days.
I thought that if he left, it would be fine and I wouldn't care... but I am dying, I am afraid of anything that might happen to me or anything I need to do. I am afraid of a step I need to take. I feel like no one is left in this universe after him.
Dad, I miss you. I miss your voice, your words, and your advice to everyone. But when I became in need of you, I couldn't find you anymore. I keep feeling like people are speaking incomprehensibly, or that I have stopped listening. I can no longer focus on anything in my life. Inside, I am suffering from depression, but on the outside, I laugh and listen to people, saying "don't worry it's okay" and not letting anyone be upset. I act as if nothing is wrong with me, while inside I am destroyed.
