Sometimes, I feel like my journal listens to me better than people do. It’s not that I lack people to talk or open up to—no, it’s just that I have trust issues; I feel uncomfortable and end up regretting it later if I do share things. My journal helps me more, whether it’s by helping me understand myself or simply giving me a space to find relief and vent. Anyway, try opening up to your journals; at the very least, they won’t judge you or talk about you behind your back.
