The Treasury is putting a colossal volume of bonds on the market in a single day: $95 billion in short 6-week bills and the key 3-year note auction worth $58 billion.
The results of these auctions will directly determine where markets move in the coming days.
🟢Scenario 1: High demand (Positive)
If investors snap up US debt like hot cakes, bond yields will go down. This will cool the debt market and give a strong push for stocks and crypto to rise.
🔴Scenario 2: Low demand (Negative)
If large funds demand a higher rate for the risk, bond yields will jump higher. High "risk-free" US yields will start sucking liquidity out of risk assets, putting S&P500 and BTC under pressure.
