The Local Backup feature is planned to be removed from V8 and all future builds Reasons: - Some users think granting special permissions means Gold Motion has hacked their device - Real time background backups were putting extra load on the CPU during editing hence on weaker devices, especially with heavy projects CPU usage could reach 100% due to repeated backups running from the beginning

For AE Editors: https://github.com/ZICHY887/Catalyst/releases/tag/AE This is Catalyst, a fast effect and preset searcher designed for everyday use, which I developed last year It's way more advanced than Video Copilot's FX Console The thing is, I've developed several other extensions and plugins for After Effects but after Gold Motion started gaining popularity I stopped working on most of them So, consider this a little gift from my side to all AE editors feel free to use and share it! And about the security scans dw Catalyst has been used by many of my long time followers, I simply stopped maintaining it for a while, but instead of letting the project die, I've decided to revive it and bring it back to life ❤️

Don't ask me to add AE import inside GM, What y'all gon do with it? You're not doing any edits on Nova just using it for AE CC, Nova is good but y'all just glazing it so much bcoz of AE project and preset import I analyzed the decompiled codebase of Nova and it's internally impossible to add something like that inside AM , Externally we can add it but it needs a lot of time to manage the external editor with no bugs
