'ABDULLĀH AL-BU'AYJĀN 'Abdullāh ibn Abdurrahmān ibn Sulaymān al-Bu'ayjān (born 1399 AH / 1979 CE) is a Saudi Qur'an reciter, Imam and Khatib of the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi), and a faculty member at the Islamic University of Madinah. He received ijazah in the recitation of Ḥafṣ 'an 'Āṣim through the Shatibiyyah from Shaykh Dr. Ibrahim ibn Sa'id ad-Dawsari, and is also certified by Shaykh AbdulḤakīm Khāṭir, a member of the scholarly committee responsible for reviewing the Madinah Muṣḥaf at the King Fahd Complex. Previously, he served as the Imam of Al-Bawāridi Mosque in Riyadh. He first led the Taraweeh prayers in the Prophet's Mosque during Ramadan 1434 AH (2013), was officially appointed as an Imam on 9 October 2013, and delivered his first Friday sermon there on 7 October 2016.
