79 years of independence and we’re still proudly calling ourselves a democracy. Modi ji toh yaad bhi dila dete hain ki apparently we’re the *third largest democracy
Itne saal azaad hue, but somehow iss desh mein abhi bhi kuch log properly azaad nahi ho paaye.
Yk Freedom looks great on paper, but Global Hunger Index, women’s safety, unemployment, poverty and basic rights still have a different story to tell..
But yeah, let’s celebrate the freedom we have and hope someday everyone actually gets to experience it.
