Pakistan has secretly joined the Saudi-led military campaign against the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen. As reported by the New York Times, Pakistani Air Force fighter jets are effectively carrying out airstrikes against targets in Yemen. At the same time, the newspaper noted that Islamabad's involvement aims to weaken the Houthis' missile capabilities and drone fleet through air operations, rather than sending ground troops to Yemen. I would be surprised if the Ansar Aallah closed the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait to Pakistan.
