Like maybe I am a venusaur and you are a charizard, he is an Utya and she is a Yoda. We all got our different roles and paths to greatness. I think that’s real.

Inevitably, some of those just looking for the ticker of the day will leave and reject my other takes and posts. But my content and reason to post what I do is for precisely that reason - to playback to my followers a distilled view of what I’ve observed and learned over the years (a filtering mechanism of sorts). First and foremost this has the purpose of attracting who and what is in alignment with my ideas and interests, and from there allows me to work together with those who are on the same path as me (those ahead and behind me on that path) as a force multiplier to get those ideas and that presence out there into the world. I encourage everyone to do the same whether your ideas are in/out of alignment with ny own. You matter. Find and pursue your truth unapologetically and vive la résistance!

Seems what I’m putting out is attracting the right types of friends

If I had to choose one personality characteristic that has given me an edge with investing in memes, stocks, people, it’s probably my ability to disregard taboo and tradition in order to search for universal truths/beauty/patterns across disciplines/people/cultures. There’s a quote about “If you make people think they're thinking, they'll love you; but if you really make them think, they'll hate you.” When the masses are casting off/explicitly pushing back on something (stronger signal) is usually what gets me more interested in taking a deeper look because something real (provocative/snapping people out of their own delusions to confront - posing a threat to thought leaders) is likely inherent in that thing. It’s my belief that people eventually come around to the truth and that no single thought leader/kol/master of the universe can hold back nature forever - things always snap back to their natural equilibrium and intrinsic value finds its level. So in a sense, value/art/business/etc investing of any kind is to me a search for universal truth/the actual language of the universe and an exercise in getting better and better at identifying it. I couldn’t think of anything more interesting to do with my life than that.

Prob the only place I differ from this guy’s mindset is believing in a higher purpose/something that you have a (videogame parlance) “build” for/affinity to pursue in life and it’s your job to relentlessly and unapologetically pursue that. Just what I believe.
