New Tesla Roadster prototype The car used SpaceX-developed cold-gas thrusters (compressed air stored in high-pressure tanks, no combustion) for short bursts of thrust. This allowed controlled hops, mid-air flips/rolls, orientation control, and landings. Elon did it all in one life.
