Playlist Downloads Are BACK. I know some of you were crying like children when we removed playlist downloads. 😭 And honestly, nobody really cared about what was happening behind the scenes — how much load it puts on our backend, or how repeatedly pushing it could even get our premium accounts banned. The impatient ones were always ready to push the limits and exploit whatever we gave them. But hey… we still cared. Because at the end of the day, we care about your experience more than you probably realize. We even cared about the people who were exploiting the system. 💀 So yes… ABUSERS, BE HAPPY. Playlist downloads are officially coming back. Go and just make us regret it again. 😭

LastWave 4.2.0 — Important Update Unfortunately, starting with v4.2.0, lossless streaming will no longer be included by default in the main APK.** To use lossless streaming, you’ll need to install an addon that we’ll provide through our official Telegram and Discord channels. The addon: * Takes only a few seconds to add * Requires no account sign-in * Has no usage limits * Can be freely distributed to anyone who wants it The reason for this change is simple: I’m barely 17, and I don’t want to put myself or the project in unnecessary legal trouble. I hope you guys can understand where I’m coming from. The main LastWave app will continue to be developed normally, and we’ll keep improving everything around it. Dolby Atmos support is also coming soon. We’ll provide the addons and future updates through our Telegram and Discord communities. Feel free to join both and share the addon with anyone who needs it. As LastWave continues to grow, managing and maintaining accounts for different services is becoming increasingly difficult. Relying on community-shared tokens also isn't ideal, since revoked or expired tokens can negatively affect the user experience. This issue will be fixed with the LastWave v4.1.0 update, which we’re dropping shortly. • v4.1.0 FLAC support will be available from today onwards. • v4.0.0 FLAC support will be restored from tomorrow. • v4.1.0 will have around 95% lossless library coverage. • v4.0.0 will continue with around 70–75% lossless coverage. LastWave Desktop Beta is coming tonight. Built with Kotlin Multiplatform, the first beta will be available on GitHub for Windows, Linux, and macOS. Anyone can download it, test it, report issues, and share feedback. Contributions are also welcome. You can contribute through a Pull Request, or if you want to work more directly on the project, you can ask for contributor access to the repository. This is an early beta, so expect bugs and rough edges. The goal is to improve it quickly with community testing and contributions.
