The final boss of wagecucks "On November 15, 2004, 52-year-old Peter Porco was attacked with an axe while sleeping in his home in Delmar, New York. Despite suffering catastrophic head injuries, investigators determined he briefly regained consciousness after the attack. In those final moments, Porco reportedly got out of bed, walked downstairs, packed his lunch, loaded the dishwasher, attempted to shave, and tried to leave for work before collapsing. Medical experts testified that these actions were possible because parts of the brain responsible for routine motor functions can continue working despite devastating injuries. Investigators identified Peter’s son, Christopher Porco, as the attacker. He was convicted of murdering his father and attempting to murder his mother, Joan Porco, in 2006 and was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison. The case remains one of the most astonishing examples of automatic human behavior ever documented following a fatal attack."
