Just as predicted!!
Dubai heavily relies on Patriot and THAAD missile defense systems both manufactured in the 🇺🇸 United States.
The 🇦🇪 United Arab Emirates depends on US technology, US training, and US support for maintenance and integration.
That raises a serious question if everything runs on external backing, how independent is the defense architecture really?
And if Iran’s missile strategy can still create pressure despite advanced Western systems, does that mean even top-tier technology has its limits? Even US technology failed?
Modern cities, luxury skylines, financial power all of that means little if core defense capability isn’t self-reliant.
No matter how advanced you look, true strength lies in independent and resilient security!
Lesson for Dubai!!!
⚠️Qatar too has been attacked... explosions heard in Bahrain...so the war has already expanded.

— Iran vs Israel/US....?
Indian equities have undergone a meaningful time & value correction over the last 18 months since Sep'24 - but the headline indices do not fully reflect the underlying damage
On the surface, benchmark indices are down only 4-5% from their highs, Nifty Smallcap index has corrected around 14%. However, beneath the surface, the broader market tells a very different story
The correction has been widespread across the listed universe.
Among companies with more than 1000 Cr MCAP
78% are down 20%+ from their all time highs
64% are down 30%+
48% are down 40%+
Approx 80% of stocks in the >1000 Cr universe are effectively in bear market territory. If companies below 1000 Cr market cap were included, the breadth would appear even weaker
Over the last few months, a narrow set of stocks has driven index performance.
Putting these pieces together -
- Market breadth is oversold
- Valuations in large parts of SMIDs have reset meaningfully
If history is any guide, phases of widespread correction combined with a compled or near completed rate cut cycle have often laid the foundation for the next leg of recovery in SMIDs
While index levels may suggest stability, the broader market has already gone through a significant cleansing phase - and that is usually how the base for the next cycle is formed
