The Truth Behind India's 'K-Shaped' Recovery 📉 If India is growing at 8% per year... then why isn't your income growing? The answer is hidden in this data... India's per capita GDP is $2,700... which amounts to about 20,000 rupees per person per month. An average family in India has about 4 to 5 people... which means that if your family earns 1 lakh rupees per month, you are exactly an average Indian individual. But here's where things get interesting... 📊 If you exclude the top 1%, the national average drops to $2,100 or 15,000 rupees per month. 📉 If you exclude the top 5%, the national average falls to half! And what does it take to be in the top 1%? 💰 The average income of people in the top 1% is 50 lakh rupees per year or $60,000. 🏦 The average wealth of people in the top 1% is more than 5 crore rupees per person. 🏛️ India's top 1% controls 40% of the country's wealth... while the bottom 50% of the population holds just 3% of the nation's wealth! That's why, when we hear news like this: 🏢 Flats worth 100 crore rupees are selling in India. 🏎️ Lamborghini has sold out completely, Mercedes has recorded its highest sales ever, and there's a 6-month waiting period. We think, "Wow, India is shining." But at the same time: 🚲 Sales of two-wheelers, which support the rural population, have hit record lows. 🚫 National unemployment is at 7%, but youth unemployment between 18-25 years is over 40%. And because of this top 1%: 🏠 Real estate prices are skyrocketing. 🍕 Eating out has become expensive. 🏥 Medical inflation, education inflation, vacation inflation... all of this is hitting the middle class hard. So if you live in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore... and you're not in the top 1%... it's with sorrow that I have to say you're the perfect example of the middle class trapped in India's 'K-shaped' recovery. 📈 Where the top 1% is surging ahead, and seeing these people on Instagram is raising your aspirations and lifestyle... 💳 But your financial reality is closer to the bottom 95%... which means more debt and no salary growth. So, either find services or products to sell to the top 1%... or look for a job abroad so you can save and send money back to India. Otherwise, the road ahead is going to be painful.

2026 will be a defining year for Indian equities—quality will decisively outperform noise. 2025 was a year dominated by global news: tariff theatrics, violent moves in commodities and precious metals, and endless focus on China. Several asset classes entered speculative zones, with 15–20% single-day swings—clear signs of excess rather than opportunity. Ironically, this happened even as India delivered strong domestic fundamentals: low inflation, easing interest rates, tax and GST rationalisation, and resilient economic growth. Yet Indian equities were shunned. Capital preferred anything—but Indian stocks. Frustration replaced conviction. History is clear: earnings and valuations eventually assert themselves. Markets tend to surprise when you expect the least. Yes, heavy equity supply from many companies hurt many mid and small caps. But this was not a market-wide failure—it was a quality filter. While weaker balance sheets corrected, strong businesses continued to make new highs, quietly separating leaders from laggards. Looking ahead to 2026, our focus is unambiguous: advanced engineering, precision manufacturing, and financials. Metals remain a tactical allocation, not a structural bet. The priority is risk management—avoiding mistakes matters more than chasing returns. 2025 was a year of learning. 2026 will be a year of discipline. No stories. No narratives. No turnarounds. Only earnings, balance sheets, and management quality. As earnings rise, markets will follow. Strong companies will stand out—and capital will return to where fundamentals deserve it most.
