One of the reasons i almost never debate or argue my personal views on feminism with other people is they very often tend to bring up “tradition” As in a woman has to fulfill her traditional role being giving birth and serving her family because that’s what they used to do 50 years ago It doesn’t even have to relate to religion specifically I would say that repetition legitimizes The more you repeat a social idea or act the more “legit” and it seems, but it doesn’t make it correct or morally right
