Yeabsira UnCut🎙 Well, I guess there's no better time to start than today. It's my birthday, and while I've been thinking about starting this channel for a while, I kept waiting for the right moment. Turns out, sometimes you just have to stop waiting and begin. So, here we are. I'm Yeabsira. A software developer in the making, a curious mind with too many ideas, and someone who's still figuring things out, one day at a time. I created this little corner of the internet to share whatever crosses my mind, things I'm learning, things I'm building, random thoughts, interesting discoveries, personal reflections, and ideas that might go somewhere someday. ⏳ Day 2/60 Building SafePay Today I worked on background tasks. I connected Celery + Redis so payment events can be handled in the background instead of making the API wait. I tested it for real: sent a payment request through Thunder Client and watched the Celery worker receive and process the task live. I also updated CI to test with Redis alongside PostgreSQL.
