I love when conservative agendas try to frame queerness and transhood as a fad, or a social contagion brought about by "woke ideology", when there are carved statues, historical texts and murals older than every nation, as old as foundational Christianity itself, depicting intersex and trans people with dignity and reverence, as flourishing in communities, sometimes even communities decidedly FOR intersex and trans people. Like, that isn't just hyperbole, San Marino is the oldest continuous sovereign state in the world and most of these historical artifacts predate it by about 100 years, Christianity was informally recognized as a religion in the early 2nd century as well.

whatever you do, do not participate in trans social studies without doing your research on the people leading the study, they're incredibly good at covering their tracks and will misuse your input to further a false narrative against trans people. There's a research study out there called AYAGDOS, lead, amongst others, by Lisa Littman, who wants to study rapid onset gender dysphoria via social failure, and is trying to make data fit that fucked up theory by purposefully misrepresenting the people who partake in her studies. Lisa is also on the advisory board on Genspect, a fully serious anti-trans org that operates within the EU and works closely with the medical systems wherever they're let in to push anti trans science. They're actively recruiting for their study on sites like Reddit, targeting demographics who frequent trans subs.
