On ground level loyalists are very conscious that the police are sympathetic to the politics and policies of the liberal left. Is it a stretch of the imagination to suggest that such functionaries are in fact SF cadres, paid, uniformed and implementing its philosophy on the ground? That aside the organisation is incapable of dealing with crime or the concerns of either community, despite lies and bluster policing enjoys the support of neither. The most corrupt police force in Western Europe has been levelled at the force, without notable rebuttal.

Whilst it would be foolish to pretend that the Irish are doctrinaire Marxists nonetheless a collectivist/third world mindset has enabled ideological and single minded communists to steer that community to the rocks on which so Many nations and peoples have perished. Ulster folk by and large have a localised mindset, a mindset forged in their DNA and thus a world view based in locality. Global events are perceived as either relevant to them & theirs or are dismissed. The fact is such events are not theological but instead are a meeting of minds with the goal of globalism, a universal religion with everything that entails.
