I have hung on like that, depended on one leg, wishing for any sort of momentary relief. Pretty things, good things. However, the diamond mended, grinding, crushed into you is precious. I have held on like that before. I want open arms now, pretty nails, and open hands.
The rarest gems are the hardest to find and identify. Go drink water, get a sandwich for your chapped lips, and smile as if you believe you can roll it up the hill effortlessly.
