Thank you for understanding. Stay tuned for the new date!

| 4 | +9Another beautiful day with the Zewari crew at St. George Armenian Apostolic Church ✨⛪️.
New faces, familiar ones and a whole lot of creative energy.
We captured it through our new lens, each sketch a unique reflection of its beauty. Sketches like this remind us why we wander.
Until the next wander. ✍️

| 6 | +8Best laid plans? Not today.
We couldn't sketch at Be'atta Mariam due to a permission hiccup so we did what any true Zewari (wanderers)would do: we wandered.
Ended up at 4 Kilo Square, improvised on the spot, and sketched the monument instead.
Sometimes the unplanned sessions are the most memorable.

| 14 | The Ones Who Walk - collective exhibition with ZEWARI —
opening Friday, November 14, at 5pm.
Zewari is a collective of urban sketchers based in Addis Ababa.
Meeting on Saturdays, each time at a new urban gem, Zewari captures the city in motion through spontaneous sketches — weaving the lines of urban memory through diverse and collective perspectives.
In a city like Addis Ababa, transforming at great speed, their practice becomes an essential act — a matter of architecture, history, memory, and community.

Stepping back in time at the Ras Birru Addis Abeba
Museum.
There are places in this city that don't just stand in
space, they stand in time. Today, we planted ourselves
at the Ras Birru Addis Abeba Museum, not just as
visitors, but as listeners. With sketchbooks in hand, We
tried to translate its quiet dignity into lines and
shadows.
To the artists who
joined today, thank you for sharing your eyes and your
energy. And to Ras Birru's legacy, thank you for
holding space in our city's memory.
We left with pages full of more than just sketches, we
left with a deeper connection to this place we call
home.
