Hi guys, I never thought I’ll say something like this here or anywhere else but life is complex sometimes. Yesterday around 5pm my beloved cat Merlin passed away from a respiratory failure in my arms. He was hospitalized two days ago from breathing issues and lost of appetite. Everything happened so fast, when I arrived to the clinic to the routine visit he was on the corner of his stall and woke up to greet me. I open the door and immediately hugged and kissed him, he did the same. He was weak and coughing a lot, and only seconds later everything happened and I just saw how a part of me simply left. Not sure is he was waiting for me or what but either way, I lost him. Trying to put it words what I’m feeling right now is impossible. He was by my side for 13 years and I don’t know a life without him in it. After my parent divorced and I had to move out by my own, he was always there. We did everything together, everything. He was the best thing that ever happened to me in my entire life and I’m broken beyond repair. Part of me what’s to burry myself in the bed and never get out of the sheets, but another part wants to keep my mind occupied so I’ll be working on comms and personal art to not let my mind win over. If you have any pets, please hug them and kiss them every day, every minute you can 💔 my old baby was everything to me and I owe him everything I am right now.
