I turned 24 today. To be honest, the number sounds a little crazy. I remember being so sure that 24-year-olds were these incredibly smart, proper adults who knew how to file their taxes and had their entire lives perfectly figured out.
Well, now I'm 24, and I don't feel like that image of an "adult" at all. I'm still figuring things out, and honestly, I still don't know how to file my taxes.
But here's what I know now that I didn't then: Growing up isn't about having all the answers; it's about being curious and brave enough to find them. It's about realizing that no one truly has it all figured out—we're all just learning as we go.
So, this year, I'm not putting pressure on myself to be a "perfect" adult. Instead, I'm embracing the journey. I'm excited to learn, to grow, and to discover more about who I am and who I want to become. And yes, that definitely includes finally learning how to file my taxes!
Here's to 24—not to having it all figured out, but to the hope, the potential, and the adventure that's still ahead. Happy Birthday to me🩵🌸

It's funny, isn't it?
Everything we say we'd do with just six months left to live like love more, be kinder, appreciate every moment is actually possible right now, in our ordinary days.
Yet we save it for some imaginary deadline.😅
Why is that? Why do we choose to live fully only when faced with an ending? Why not live all 60 years with that same depth of feeling, instead of cramming it all into a hypothetical final six months?
No, just think about it. Why is that?

That's really beautiful. It cuts right to the heart of what matters.
So it makes me wonder...
if that's the dream for your last six months, what are you doing today to make that real?
Are you telling the people you love that you love them? Are you making time for those slow, meaningless, beautiful conversations that don't achieve anything except connection?
Just curious what that looks like for you, right now.👩🦯

If I only had six months left to live, I would want to love and be loved.

You know, I already try to live like I’ve only got six months left.
It sounds intense, but it actually simplifies everything.
It means I don’t save my best words for later.
I say yes to more sunsets, more spontaneous tea with a friend, more staring at the sky like it’s a gift because it is.
I’m not waiting for someday. Someday is now.
It’s not about being reckless. It’s about being real.
It’s remembering that what matters isn’t how much time you have, but how you spend it.
And me? I’m trying to spend it alive. Fully, deeply, kindly alive.🩵

What would you do and how would you spend your time, if you only had six months left to live?
