It’s just a chill space where I share my thoughts, things I’m learning, mistakes I make, and random dev moments. I opened this to stay committed, grow, and learn with others. If you vibe with that, grab your coffee and let’s figure out tech together ☕️💻

I ran my finances through an analysis app for the second time this year. The app is smart. I’m still broke 😭

So with that , odit.et is officially launched been in the works since Feb 10 2025 ( almost a year ) been in my head since 2022 with this post The app is native kotlin and the site is built with svelte 5 installation instructions here and usage instructions here You can finally get control over your finances because they are easy to log and easy to go thru. from odit.et/dashboard You can see your 2025 wrapped from odit.et/wrapped and You can set goals for 2026 at odit.et/goals ( yes they will automatically update as messages come in ) odit is not on device , and is closed source , head to totals.detached.space if you want a FOSS alternative @rb_wk for more of the stuff i built

2026 😊

2026: no easy mode 😄 Me: still showing up. God: carrying me through 🙏

You must learn to enjoy life without needing an audience to see that you are enjoying life.

One downside of working onsite is that you don’t have enough time to invest in yourself like exploring new technologies, building side projects, and so on. Working from home should be normalized here in Ethiopia

Me last night, Unlimited internet for two years. Gone.😭😭

Thank you to everyone who gave me a star on Stark Love you all ❤️

I’ve deployed Flowly on Stark. I know it’s a simple project, but I just wanted it to be out there. For everyone who messaged me about the download issue it’s fixed now and working properly, so go check it out. Love you all ❤️ Stark Link

Making a large commit right now… guess sleep has to wait 😭

So you asked for some improvements yesterday, and here I am 😊 I added light and dark themes and also fixed some UI efficiency issues. Thanks for the feedback and you’re still welcome to share more if you have any! u can get the app here

I just lost almost an hour to this 😭 What was happening? An old server process was still running in the background (a ghost / zombie process 👻). Even after I fixed the code, the browser was still talking to the old version of the app. I tried everything: - Closed VS Code - Restarted my PC - Cleared cache Nothing worked In the end, changing the port finally made it work. That’s when I realized the browser had already registered the port with old data. So even after fixing the code, it kept serving the previous state. Lesson learned ☕️ If your fixes don’t apply, it might not be your code… it might be a ghost.

This weekend, I was thinking about building a platform where both new and experienced creators could share their creations apps, websites, designs basically an open-source community showcase with feedback. Today, I came across this - stark It’s really cool, and I like it a lot. I realized I don’t need to build one anymore we already have something great. It was built by @andymarrow . I’ll also sharing my work there from now on.(senoregn 😄) Let’s go show your work and get feedback!
