On April 18, 1506, work began on St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. It was not completed until 1615 and remained the largest church in the world until 1989. Many famous works of art are featured in this amazing Renaissance/Baroque styled building, including Michelangelo’s Pietá.

Standing on top of a mountain, getting inspired for both visual art and music at the same time is such an incredible feeling. On the way up this mountain, I recorded sound samples of spring to add some atmosphere to an EP I'm working on for Under the Dogwood On the way down this mountain, I took reference photos of various mosses, mushrooms, and flowers to capture some of the budding spring for a wood burned art collection I'll be creating this year. ✨
