| 2 |  +3Cambodia to showcase its cuisine in Paris at the International Gastronomy Village 2026 ✨
After a successful first participation, Cambodia is returning to the International Gastronomy Village in the center of Paris to showcase its cuisine and vibrant culture to French speaking and international audiences.
From September 10 to 13, 2026, over 50,000 international visitors are expected to taste, discover, connect, and share across three dedicated Cambodian booths.
This unique gastronomy event brings together 80 countries, chefs, diplomats, journalists, cookbook authors, and winemakers from all around the world to promote cultural exchange and a shared passion for cuisine.

The first-ever Foreigner Khmer Speaking Contest will be held on Sunday, September 20, giving foreign residents in Cambodia a chance to showcase the Khmer language skills they have worked hard to develop.
We warmly invite you to join the 1st Foreigner Khmer Speaking Contest (FKSC 2026), hosted by KBAC (Korean Business Association in Cambodia) and co-organized by KLC Korean Language Center and News Briefing Cambodia.

| 6 |  +3Cambodia to host two major Legends Tour golf tournaments in November and December ⛳
In Phnom Penh, Vattanac Golf Resort, awarded the #3 Golf Resort in Asia Pacific (2023 Asia Pacific Golf Awards), will set the stage for the Vattanac Legends Championship (November 27–29), followed by the season-ending finale for the entire Legends Tour season: the Vattanac Tour Championship (December 4–6) jointly brought by Vattanac and CTB.
This presents a unique showcase where renowned international golfers and former major champions will battle in the Kingdom of Wonder. The events will place Cambodia on the world stage by attracting high-spending international visitors and contributing to the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen its position as a year-round destination for major international sporting events.
CTB is proud to collaborate with Vattanac Golf Resort to bring Legend Tour season-ending finale to Cambodia, further positioning the Kingdom as a premier golf tourism destination in the region.

| 7 |  Siem Reap is set for the upcoming Angkor Equinox, expecting up to 10,000 visitors 🌅
Scheduled for September 21–23, this year’s Angkor Equinox celebration aims to showcase Siem Reap to a wider global audience as a premier destination for cultural, heritage, and sports tourism.
To complement this biannual solar event, local authorities are introducing a running event alongside the main sightseeing activities, offering visitors another way to experience the iconic Angkor Archaeological Park. Participants will run from Siem Reap town to Angkor Wat, arriving in time to witness the spectacular Angkor Equinox sunrise.
According to official estimates, the upcoming celebration is expected to attract 5,000 to 10,000 local and international visitors, further highlighting Siem Reap’s potential as a year-round destination for diverse cultural, natur,e and city tourism experiences.

Cambodia is racing into an exciting era of global connectivity with new international airports serving as high-tech monuments to a nation transitioning into a sophisticated global player.
Inaugurated in October 2025, Techo International Airport (KTI) has been recognized among the World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026 as a laureate of the Prix Versailles World Selection. A technological gem, it symbolises a new era for Cambodia, blending innovative architectural designs that incorporate the country's proud heritage, modern technology and famed hospitality to ensure travellers arrive to a warm welcome.
Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI) and Sihanoukville International Airport (KOS) also form part of a coordinated effort to modernise entry into Cambodia, aiming for every arrival in the nation to be as seamless as the experiences that await.
Beyond physical infrastructure, Cambodia has also been streamlining the entry process. The introduction of digital systems, including e-visa services and simplified arrival procedures, have made crossing borders much easier.

CTB and Chaktomuk Short Film Festival (CSFF) signed a Matching Grant Agreement in Phnom Penh under the Overseas Promotion of Local Events initiative to boost international visibility for Cambodia's creative, cultural, and film industries. The ceremony featured official remarks, the formal signing, and a screening of award-winning CSFF 2025 short films from Cambodia and China.
Under the agreement, CTB will support CSFF's international media outreach and PR campaign, expanding the festival's regional reach and reinforcing Cambodia's film tourism strategy. For CSFF, the grant marks its shift from a local festival to an internationally connected platform, showcasing Cambodian filmmakers to wider audiences while attracting regional visitors.

Film Mentoring Programme in Siem Reap
Held from 10–16 August 2026 in Siem Reap, the diverse participants from Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Myanmar have successfully completed the intensive seven-day KARRE MOUY Film Mentoring Programme, refining nine original short film projects and preparing to pitch them for funding later this year.
The programme provided participants with hands-on training in film production, project development, grant applications, and pitching for local and international funding opportunities under the experienced mentors guidance.
