Me writing this as someone who has already graduated, but the fact that there are 2 years left😭 but this is what I personally encountered and learned from others too @byte_philospher

One of the biggest things our education system fails to teach us is how to make money and the value of money. You don't really realize this until you try to become financially independent. For most of our lives, we're taught to focus on homework, assignments, quizzes, and grades. But once you graduate, reality hits. Homework won't pay your rent. Assignments won't cover your bills. Suddenly, your priorities shift from "How do I get an A?" to "How do I make enough money this month?" And honestly, that's a difficult transition because no one prepared us for it. Sometimes I even wonder... when did I say I wanted to grow up? University is one of the best places to discover yourself, so don't spend those years only chasing grades. Learn valuable skills. Take internships. Freelance. Build projects. Start something small. Grab opportunities and, if possible, turn them into income. The earlier you understand how money works, the smoother life after graduation becomes. At the same time, don't ignore work-life balance. This is something many of us(including me) still struggle with. But it matters. I know people who maintain a 3.9+ CGPA while working remote jobs. If it's possible for them, it's possible for you too but with discipline and good time management. Start thinking beyond the comfort of living with your parents. Ask yourself: * What skills can I monetize? * How much did I earn this year on my own? * Am I preparing for the life I'll have after graduation? Learn how to make money before time flies. Your future self will thank you. #lessons @byte_philosopher

There are some days you don't need coffee to stay awake. The amount of work left and a tight deadline are enough to pull an all-nighter. @byte_philosopher

Okay, this is finally up. Not a men vs women thing, not a lecture. A lot of us live in a bubble, tech, creative, liberal spaces, where things look fine for women, but there's a mindset that follows us out of it and into our own heads. I wrote a piece to show what it's actually like to move through the world as a woman, so you feel it instead of being argued at. Including what the "man-hater" is really reacting to, because it isn't hate, even when it sounds like it. Please read the whole thing, it's one picture, and the pieces only add up together. Half of it out of context reads wrong. If you've ever been confused why women say it's still not okay when it looks fine to you, this is the walk-through. https://frostysiren.substack.com/p/on-being-seen?r=8ulkmq And if it resonates, share it with anyone you think it might reach, women who'll feel seen, and men who genuinely want to understand

I want this girl in the podcast so many times. There is a lot to learn from her. Finally, Anexo did it. We have something to hear today. Go and check it out. @byte_philosopher

The fact that you need money to market your product (to get money) is so irritating. Without money, you can't even get money. @byte

Today's taxi journey hits different. The girl next to me had her bank account displayed at 100% brightness. May God bless me with this amount of money. 😏 My question is, what the hell is she doing in a taxi with this amount of money? @byte_philosopher

በእውነቱ earphone or headset እንጠቀም ማለት እወዳለሁ 😁 @byte_philosopher

Is it just me, or is it weird when people blast their FYP in a taxi like they're the only person there? The confidence to turn the volume all the way up is something else. @byte_philosopher
