Gonna be honest(i can lie) here for a second both romanticization and anger are ways of prolonging the grief because your brain is trying to delay the inevitable conclusion that "a good thing was once here and it no longer is and there is nothing you can do about that".

when life gets impossibly difficult, we play dead. Not just metaphorically, mind you. I'm talking full-on, Oscar-worthy performance art. We cease all activity, adopt a vacant stare, and maybe even develop a slight rigor mortis-like stiffness. The goal? To convince life – that capricious, often cruel mistress – that we're no longer worth bothering with.

grief is a privilege afforded by being young and having lots of free time. now you're older and you still have a lot of free time but it doesn't feel like free time. it's just "i should be working right now" time

Have you ever thought abt how you would love if you never taught to love?if there wasn't a fixed way to do so... Would it be full of pain or daisies

how do you tell people? how do you tell them that you’re exhausted even though you slept for 10 hours? how do you tell them that you need a break from talking and smiling and simply being near them? how do you tell them that although you love them, you so desperately need to be alone? Why can't we just say no to a meetup and not bring a proper excuse?

everyone fakes who they really are, when deep down we’re all equal amounts of screwed up.
