Actually this is even more odd because three astrologers followed a star to find Yeshua and Yeshua HIMSELF references signs in the heavens as a method for recognizing the end of days. There's straight up nothing in the scripture that *actually* speaks against it. Believe me, I've looked - even the verses that are supposed to be against it don't actually say that.

| 20 |  For a belated Halloween post, as the aura of the night still floats in the autumn air:
It should come as no surprise that, with all the talk of the Devil's Holiday, that the god who inspired the modern idea of the devil, Cernunnos, l should be intertwined with ancient Samhain.
Just as Samhain marks the end of harvest and beginning of movement into the dark, so Cernunnos is a god of shamanism, of the in-between, of duality. In the Gundestrup Cauldron, we see Cernunnos wielding a torc in one hand, symbolizing wealth and power, and the snake in the other hand, symbolizing lowliness and wildness. His horns were worn by shamans of old to attempt to commune with the other side. He is The Ancient, the Horned God, the god of Death and Life.
And for Oidhche Shamhna, Scotland's equivalent to Samhain, Cernunnos retires for the winter. In some traditions, this day is the symbolic death of the Horned God. His blood feeds the earth, grass, and trees before they, and he, should rise again in spring.
