Origami Tech

Yesterday, we detected an attack on Origami Tech's infrastructure. The affected systems were promptly isolated, the vulnerability was addressed, and the relevant credentials and secrets were rotated. The protected security layer containing users’ private keys was not compromised. Users’ private keys remain secure. However, some data may have been affected during the incident. As an additional security measure, we are resetting all user passwords and 2FA settings. Users will need to set a new password using the Forgot Password option on the login page and set up 2FA again after logging in. We also recommend rotating the exchange API keys connected to Origami Tech as an additional precaution. The incident has been contained, and we are continuing our internal review. We will provide additional updates as our review progresses.

Origami Tech is updating its Bitget integration to support Unified Accounts. On September 7 at 12 UTC Origami Tech will switch the Bitget integration from Classic Accounts to Unified Accounts. Until the switch, Bitget on Origami Tech will continue to work with Classic Accounts only. Please keep your current Classic Account unchanged until September 7 at 12 UTC. After the switch, Bitget connectivity on Origami Tech will work with Unified Accounts only. At that point, Bitget users will need to migrate their accounts to Unified before continuing crypto trading through Origami Tech. Origami Tech Competitions are expanding 🏆 We’re introducing a new Competition format with daily epochs, alongside the standard format. How Competitions with epochs work: • Each Competition day is a separate epoch • The total prize pool is split equally across all Competition days • Rewards for each epoch are calculated based on that day’s crypto trading volume • Daily rewards accumulate throughout the Competition and are paid after it ends • A minimum total eligible volume can be set as a qualification requirement What does this change for participants? Every epoch has its own reward calculation. Participants can join later and compete for upcoming daily pools regardless of the volume accumulated during previous epochs. We’ve also expanded Competition analytics. Participants can track total crypto trading volume, the number of participants, Competitive Index, and charts showing how trading volume is distributed throughout the Competition.
