I'm a chef by trade, I tried a lot of different jobs over the last few years but again, here I am. Worked 13 hours and didn't have time to post here at all. I keep coming back to cooking because it's a fight, it's a physical and mental challenge that fluctuates wildly between simple super easy and legendary survival impossible mode at random. At the end of the day ur exhausted and probably stabbed and burned but it wasn't boring, it was struggle. There's nothing better than knowing you killed it, carried the restaurant to the end, and won the day.
