I tried out variational in early days. To be frank, wasn’t a fan of it as my orders for markets outside of BTC don’t get filled. TP got cancelled due to slippage. So I stopped using it shortly after.
In June, I met Lucas while I was in New York. We had a really long walk from 20 street to 56 and chatted so much on variational and learnt more about his future plans.
Went back and decided to start properly trading on it. Variational was so much better today than it was last year.
Variational don’t give points for volume purely.
I really wanted to get to top 50 by PnL (not points). Had to end the challenge early as my wallet that was used on variational was unfortunately got tainted by clicking a bad link so I have to stop using it. I lost some coins on BSC, but my Arbitrum and Variational wallet is safe. Other wallets that I have are safe too.
Ending my challenge here as rank 58 by PnL.

| 14 | Today i gave Grok 4.5 a serious spin and it is very, very good.
For coders, you can consider trying it out. For speculators, $SPCX is a pretty good play in July 2026. Near term earnings + lockup supply means low float.
SPCX is added to Nasdaq-100, and there were some sell offs from 170s to <150 last few days. I think this is done and accumulation phase starts again.

- only frontier model that is listed. Many people still do not see SpaceX as an AI play.
- SpaceX > SpaceXAI > Grok.
- spaex = rockets + launchpad + starlink (cash cow).
- partially neocloud since its renting out GPU to Anthropic and Google via Colossus.
Future narratives of SpaceX is AI software and Ai compute (orbital DC).
The risks i can see is earnings proves disappointing with xAI dragging down earnings for SpaceX (as a group). Dont think a lot of people are paying for xAI actively now.
Holding on to this through July and see how. It's hovering at IPO price of $150 now.

Apple raise prices for mac and ipads, citing shortages in memory and storage. The main provider for DRAM is SK Hynix and Samsung.
DRAM is facing shortage as makers are reallocating wafer capacity to HBM and other higher-margin DRAMs. Prices for end-products will continue to be pushed higher.
NAND flash storage is provided by Kioxia, and this will likely see a surge in tomorrow's market open.

| 19 | Finally not underwater on this anymore. Good decent profits on ZEC after bleeding heavily for a few months.
Haven't been trading crypto much since token launch and was busy with work stuffs. Other than scalping OIL (which i've stopped due to low R/R payoffs), the now developing story and momentum is in chips and semiconductor.
In crypto, a few tokens with developing narrative
- $ZEC - uncensorable moeny and quantum proof
- $BTC + $STRC: haven't had a full thought on whether STRC is good long term but mid term it brings in new capital
- $CHIPS - novel concept on usd.ai
