It begins to feel like I’m building the same project over and over, just with a different name or goal. And then I stop and ask myself: What exactly am I learning here? The truth is, it doesn’t feel like learning when you’re stuck in repetition. But something is happening under the surface. Time reveals it. The more you stay with something, the better you understand how it works. Not just on the surface, but beneath it. Slowly, you feel more confident. You think you’ve seen everything there is to see. Then it hits you. You come across a side of the work you’ve never noticed before. Something unexpected. And that one new thing opens the door to a new layer you didn’t know existed. It humbles you. It reminds you how much more there is to discover. So the cycle begins again. You’re back at the start. Excited. Confused. Motivated. Repeating things that feel familiar. Until something unfamiliar appears. That’s what learning really looks like. It’s not a straight line. It’s not always progress you can measure. It’s a loop. A rhythm. A pattern.
